Last year, new piece of legislation was introduced in the house, H.R. 3523 Cyber Intelligence Sharing and Protection Act known as CISPA to fight against cyber attacks. But what it’s real propose is if passed, allows the government to monitor, censor and stop any online communication that it considers disruptive to the government. It passed the House than later was beaten in the Senate.
Now CISPA is back and congress members are pushing CISPA hard for its passage. So we need to push back just like SOPA, PIPA, ACTA, CISPA and now CISPA 2.0.
CISPA 2.0 has the same provisions as last year with an added bonus.
This so-call Cyber Protection bill gives companies like Verizon and At&t protection from customers’ lawsuits when they give the Feds information about your Internet use.
I’m amazed that congress and corporations claiming they want to protect us by violate our privacy from hackers that I guarantee was stage by the federal government that wants to push Cyber Security legislation from the begin with.
The sponsor of CISPA, Rep. Dutch Ruppersber said at the hearing this week, “I didn’t see any reason why businesses needed to hide your personal data.”
It’s call the 4th amendment of the Bill of Right and Constitution. Something you sworn an oath to after you were elected into office. Patriots it’s time to fight for what’s left of the 4th amendment.
